This course is designed to give you an introduction to the First Aid skills and knowledge needed to help an adult, baby or child in a medical emergency. This course does not seek to replace the practical element and a practical course is required in order to meet HSE requirements for a regulated course. This course is an excellent First Aid Training package for people to gain invaluable knowledge at their own time and pace and for those with English as a Second Language to prepare themselves to pass a practical first aid course. It is also equivalent to 2 hours verifiable CPD.
It is impossible to cover all eventualities within this course, or to equip you with the knowledge and skills to appropriately diagnose and treat in unpredictable real life situations. If you suspect serious illness or injury, you should always seek immediate professional medical advice.
