The Catastrophic bleeding (life changing bleeding) course covers topics including; CPR and the Recovery position, first aid treatment for serious bleeding, catastrophic bleeding, use of manufactured and improvised tourniquets, packing a wound, the dangers of weapon carrying, treatment for acid attacks and use of bleed kits.

This Catastrophic Bleeding first aid course is an ideal course for the general public, construction workers, companies operating in areas at risk of severe bleeding, tree surgeons, forest schools and all other schools, young people, youth workers and anyone wishing to empower themselves with the skills and knowledge to help themselves or someone else who has been a victim of catastrophic bleeding.

This course does not seek to replace any practical training but allows you to undertake on-line learning at a time and place to suit you and then book onto a regulated practical course should you require one. This course is also an excellent First Aid Training package for companies and schools to offer as part of their Corporate and Social Responsibility and PHSE.
