First Aid for Grandparents

Course Overview

Looking after your grandchildren is a huge responsibility, and all grandparents should understand how to help if the child in their care becomes seriously unwell or has an accident. The First Aid for Grandparents course is designed to provide theoretical knowledge on how to recognise when something is wrong and how to respond in a medical emergency. The course covers essential topics such as the recovery position, CPR, choking, drowning, and much more.

Who is this course for?

This is an excellent first aid training package for parents and grandparents who want to gain invaluable knowledge at their own time and pace. While this course equips you with essential theoretical knowledge, it does not replace the benefits of a hands-on, practical course. It is strongly recommended that you attend a practical first aid training session to gain the necessary real-life skills.

How the course works

The course consists of illustrated step-by-step directions, flow charts, diagrams, videos, and test-yourself sections. It is fully compatible with all computers and mobile devices. You will be able to stop and start as often as you like and print your certificate on completion. This course should take around 6 hours to complete, and you will have continuous access to the course for 12 months.
