Why blended learning could be exactly what you need!

Blended learning for paediatric first aid is now mainstream and one of the most popular courses we run. First Aid for Life and Onlinefirstaid.com are the leading providers of blended learning and have been at the forefront of this training for the last 3 years.

The benefits to the candidates are clear: not only do they gain from an enhanced learning experience, they also arrive at the practical course with the pre-learning completed and in a far more engaged and knowledgeable frame of mind. For those with English as a Second Language, the pre-learning is an invaluable tool to ensure they have time to consolidate the course information and can utilise the language support to enable them to dramatically increase their understanding on the practical course.

Now the HSE have given their support to blended learning for First Aid at Work, we are able to provide fully regulated blended learning for groups needing the FAW and EFAW  qualifications. The EFAW can now be completed in a 4 hour course one evening (with 2 hours pre-learning online) – this has proved incredibly convenient for Sports professionals and other organisations for whom an evening course works best.

The 3 day FAW can now be completed with one day pre-learning online and 2 days in the classroom. This means that staff needing the 2 day requalification can now attend on the same day as those completing the 3 day initial qualification, which makes it a far more economical and cost-effective option for most organisations.
