It is a lovely book which is very informative and has useful diagrams. The cover is modern and simple and it explains exactly what the book is about. A very good concept. It is a book which is useful for everyone to have in the house just in case you ever need to use it. It was really informative and I liked how it broke down the age groups and pointed out the characteristics and likely accident and injuries. It detailed lots of injuries and the ways to help. The diagrams were helpful too. This book was useful for adults as well as children’s ailments and injuries. I have basic first aid knowledge so it was useful and did refresh my memory. It also gave me new information. It covered a wide range of ailments and injuries and spaced them out so the information was easy to find and read. Lovely, good quality book. This is very good value as it will be useful and well worth the money. I would purchase this book and I would recommend. Excellent and informative book covering lots of ailments and injuries which detail actions to be taken. Also preventative measures. Michelle Millard – Ellis & Jasmine – 5 years & 21 Months

Nice looking paperback book, eye catching, straightforward title. Nice layout inside, short paragraphs, bold titles and sub headings for easy and quick browsing. Front cover is simple but eye catching, if I was looking for a first aid book for children I would definitely pick this one up. The idea of this book is fantastic for families with children and a lot of the first aid can also be used for adults…it’s laid out in a way that in an emergency if close at hand it would be easy to find the section required. This book contains a lot of information from minor grazes to amputations, from choking to sepsis, heatstroke, frost bite and allergic reactions. It covers cpr, shock, fractures to name but a few…this book would be invaluable to those with basic first aid training to none at all, fortunately during the time I have had this book, I have had no situations in which to use it, however I have basic medical training and I would still find this book useful. This book certainly caters for all the family. there was so much information in this book, a lot of stuff you don’t always cover in first aid training and plenty of easy to read key points that are quick to locate and absorb as a refresher or as a confidence giver, if you’re not sure if you’re dealing with a situation correctly!! The internal layout is without a doubt perfect, everything is easy to locate by just flicking the pages although there is a detailed index at the front as well… bold print highlights each topic, followed by bold subheadings and spaced key points. This book Appears to be very good quality. At an rrp of £12.99 yes I believe it does offer great value,it could potentially save someone’s life if only by assisting a parent to provide quick and basic first aid till professionals arrive or are consulted!! I would buy this book, and it is also a book I would recommend to my friend who has a young baby. Would certainly recommend to those with young children. Fab book…. covered every topic I could think of and more in a detailed but easy to access and read sort of way!! Lots of additional information included, risk assessments for nurseries and schools, developmental stages, potential hazards and further references. Jamie Willans – Callum & Ashley – 11 & 7 Years
